In May 2020, Black Lives Matter movement drew wide attention to the problem of entrenched racism in American society. Together with the pandemic, it seemed like the world is falling apart faster than what we can control.

These illustrations reflected our state of mind. Although the world could be more cynical and our hope could be naive, we are still hopelessly hopeful about it.
